We can exclusively reveal that Sofia Black-D’Elia and Ray Nicholson are set to star in Cazzie David and Elisa Kalani’s directorial debut, ‘I Love You Forever,’ which has just wrapped filming.
Described as “a subversive romantic comedy gone wrong,” the film follows a young woman (Black-D’Elia) who starts to suspect her new boyfriend (Nicholson) is not what he initially appears to be. The film is produced by critically acclaimed screenwriter Diablo Cody, who is known for her work on ‘Juno,’ ‘Young Adult’ and ‘Jennifer’s Body,’ and Mason Novick, who produced ‘500 Days of Summer.’ In addition to directing, David and Kalani have also written the screenplay for the film.
Black-D’Elia is known for her starring role in Hulu comedy series ‘Single Drunk Female,’ while Nicholson starred in Prime Video series ‘Panic’ and most recently appeared alongside Zoey Deutch and Kendrick Sampson in holiday rom-com ‘Something from Tiffany’s.’ David most recently had a recurring role in season 3 of ‘The Umbrella Academy.’
