Calahan Skogman Joins Kogonada’s ‘A Big Bold Beautiful Journey’ (EXCLUSIVE)
Calahan Skogman has joined the cast of Kogonada’s A Big Bold Beautiful Journey, we can exclusively reveal.
He joins an ensemble cast that includes Margot Robbie, Colin Farrell, Lily Rabe, Jodie Turner-Smith, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Brandon Perea, Billy Magnusson, Sarah Gadon, Yuvi Hecht and Lucy Thomas. Filming is currently underway in California.
Skogman is known for his performance as Matthias Helvar in Netflix series Shadow and Bone, based on the beloved Grishaverse book series from author Leigh Bardugo.
Kogonada first made waves with his directorial debut Columbus, which starred John Cho and Haley Lu Richardson. His follow-up After Yang, starring Farrell, Turner-Smith and Justin H. Min, premiered at the 2021 Cannes Film Festival. He has also directed two episodes of upcoming Star Wars series The Acolyte, premiering June 4.
The film will be distributed by Sony Pictures worldwide.
