Exclusive: First Poster for Naqqash Khalid’s ‘Flint’

Flint is Khalid’s follow-up to his acclaimed debut feature In Camera, which starred Nabhaan Rizwan, Rory Fleck Byrne and Amir El Masry.
Flint stars Fleck Byrne and Rizwan, in addition to Eileen Walsh and Finbar Lynch. It follows Flint (Fleck Byrne) as he returns to his childhood home to heal. He quickly falls back into familiar routines – then into violence.
Khalid previously told us about Flint during our interview for the US release of In Camera, telling us he dreamt it while making his debut feature and quickly started putting pen to paper in order to realize it.
“It’s a fairy tale again. But it’s a reverse fairy tale, someone going from experience to innocence. It’s very new and special to me.”
Flint is set for a festival debut later this year.
